Bravo! A Century of Theatre in Fairfield County in Fairfield County Exhibition

Come see the Stars in your own backyard. Visitors will discover Connecticut’s theatrical history, a legacy that dates from the 19th century to the present day. The Westport Country Playhouse, White Barn Theatre and the American Shakespeare Festival in Stratford collectively comprise a who's who of stage artists. Here distinguished actors, playwrights, directors, designers and producers experimented with their craft, honing and revising works away from the critical eyes of New York journalists prior to official Broadway opening nights. With costumes, props, photographs and theatrical events, the Fairfield Museum takes Connecticut behind the curtain and will inspire artists and audiences of tomorrow.
