About Us:

After 13 years of pastoring established churches, Pastor Clark recognized that one of the most effective ways to help people come to faith was through starting new churches. As he prayed about this, God gave him a vision for starting a church that would help people know and grow with God through faith in Jesus Christ. At that same time, Valley Community Baptist Church in Avon, Connecticut - having also decided that the best way to reach people for Christ was through starting new churches - contacted Pastor Clark about starting their first "daughter" church.

Partnering together, Pastor Clark and his family moved to Granby in 1999, and Valley Brook Community Church opened in September 2000. The church outgrew the elementary school they were renting and in 2002 moved to the Granby Memorial High School for their Sunday morning services.

With a current attendance over 300, Valley Brook is prayerfully making plans to construct a building on their property located on Route 10 in Granby.
