Audubon Greenwich Welcomes New Board Members

Greenwich, CT - Audubon Greenwich is pleased to welcome three new members to its Board of Directors.
Rachel Khanna is a passionate advocate of sustainable agriculture, local and organic food, and healthy eating. A trained chef, she has a diploma in Culinary Arts from the Institute of Culinary Education in New York, as well as a Master’s Degree from Columbia University. Ms. Khanna teaches organic cooking classes and healthy eating seminars, as well as consults privately on nutrition and menu planning.
Kristen Oddi is a long-time lover of nature and advocate for children’s education. She worked as an educator at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan and attended Columbia University’s Teachers College, graduating with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. She worked in New Canaan, CT as a second grade teacher at East School, a public elementary school, where she worked until leaving to have her first child. She brings to Audubon her passion for books, the outdoors, and children.
Maria Stepanian, graduated from Barnard College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and Psychology. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Ms. Stepanian taught elementary school, and currently tutors students in grades K-12 and assists high school seniors in the college application process. She is an active member of the Parkway School PTA, and a parishioner at St. Gregory Armenian Church, where she serves on the Church Parish Council and directs the children’s church camp.
Audubon Greenwich is delighted to welcome these talented women as they bring their love of nature, commitment to conservation, and wealth of knowledge and skills to our organization.
Audubon Greenwich has been providing environmental programs since 1942 and is the National Audubon Society’s first education center. The mission of Audubon Greenwich is to engage and educate people to conserve, restore, and enjoy nature, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats.
