Marc, Laurie & Georgia 1960-1962, part 1
running time:04:39 added by:beeswax1912 source: YouTubeIn this segment, we see Georgia and our mother picking flowers along a highway – Alabama in the springtime? - and then Laurie and I with one of her many friends of the natural world, in front of our home on Maxwell Air Force Base near Montgomery. Next, we’re at Great Smoky Mountains National Park on our way to visit our grandparents in New England, at a native American exhibit, riding horses and looking at the views. In the last scene, we have arrived at Mom’s parents’ home in Greenwich, Connecticut, in the summertime, and I’m giving Georgia a ride on my shoulders.

Marc, Laurie & Georgia 1956-1959
running time:07:08 added by:beeswax1912 source: YouTubeIn this compilation, our family has returned from Europe and is visiting with our grandparents, Mom’s folks. Next, we’re seen frolicking in the sprinkler in Terra Linda and then going for our Christmas tree. The next scene shows my sisters and I visiting our grandparents when they lived in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts, followed by a brief snippet of us on a trip somewhere in our little travel trailer. That tiny trailer would get hitched to our 1956 Chevrolet station wagon for various road trips. Next is a scene of us sledding at grandparents’ home in Greenwich, Connecticut, most likely over Christmas in 1959 or 1960. And last, the three of us with Mom on our annual Easter visit to an enormous estate garden, possibly near Birmingham, Alabama. (We were living in Montgomery at the time, from 1957 to 1961.)
