September Is Hunger Action Month: It's Time To Act And Feed More Americans Than Ever Before

Hunger Action Month is here and we, along with our network of food-assistance programs in Connecticut and the country, are asking you to Give a Little, Feed a Lot. Join your friends and neighbors in giving of yourself---money, time, food, voice---whatever you can so we can feed more people who are hungry in our communities.

Hunger Action Month takes place each September and serves as a nationwide call to action, mobilizing people everywhere to get involved with ending hunger in America.

Every day this month, you can do something to help someone in need in Connecticut. You only have to give a little to feed a lot. Click here to view our Hunger Action Month calendar and see how you can help.

Go online at www.ctfoodbank.org and donate what you typically spend on lunch for a day, a week or a month---whatever you can. It's that simple. Just $5 will help provide 17 meals for people in need.
