"The Farmers Market at Billings Forge began in 2007, the market aims to provide our residents at Billings Forge access to fresh, unprocessed foods and to draw new people and life into the Frog Hallow neighborhood. In 2009 our market will be open Thursdays April 23rd to October 29th form 11:00 to 2:30. Our farmers and artisans come from all over Connecticut to sell their fresh and delicious goods direct to the consumer. In addition to produce and fruits, we will also feature excellent breads, dairy, locally roasted coffee, jams, soaps, flowers, and many different locally made chesses. The market will also have a array of local artists and craftspeople rotating weekly.

April-October, 559 Broad St. Hartford, in the grass courtyard on the north side of the Firebox Restaurant. Thursdays 11:00 to 2:30.
