Third Annual Mannkind Candlewood Lake Canoe And Kayak Race

On Saturday September 26, 2009 The Mannkind Corporation, Brookfield Park and Recreation, The Housatonic River Valley Trail, and  The Still River Alliance will be sponsoring the Third Annual Candlewood Lake Canoe And Kayak Race to Benefit The Still River. Flatwater Canoe and Kayak racing is a contest of speed, strength and endurance in which participants compete head to head on calm bodies of water. The race course is one mile long – divided into ½ mile segments. There are will be both Canoe and Kayak Racing Divisions. There will also be ironman races.
