MONTESSORI SCHOOL ON EDGEWOOD’S THIRD ANNUAL VALENTINE CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL

The Montessori School on Edgewood’s Third Annual Valentine Chocolate Festival will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 1:00 – 4:30 p.m. at the Thomas Golden Center in the Saint Thomas More Chapel at Yale, 268 Park Street, New Haven. The Public Tasting will take place from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.; with the auction and awards taking place from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. This festive and delicious event celebrating children and chocolate will benefit the Montessori School on Edgewood, and is a program of the Greater Dwight Development Corporation.

This event includes a friendly culinary competition of local professional and amateur chocolatiers. Visitors will participate in the tasting and judging of chocolate items, and have a chance to bid on the submissions in a live auction. In addition, there will be a silent auction featuring four passes to Disney World and a weekend getaway at The Study, as well as jewelry, art, and other treasures.
