Our next Happiness Club meeting presents: The Science of Happiness by Dr. Mark Setton. Dr. Setton will provide an overview of the most recent scientific findings about happiness. Mark Setton, D.Phil., has studied and published works on East Asian philosophy for the past 30 years. He is presently teaching East Asian philosophy and world religions, as well as his favorite course, "Perspectives on Happiness," at the University of Bridgeport.
Allison Aboud Holzer, CPCC, MAT, MFA is the group facilitator. An enlightening forum of friendly people to foster intellectual discussions and diverse perspectives on topics related to Happiness and the new science of Positive Psychology. The club welcomes all members of the New Haven community, but specifically targets the student population at the local universities: Yale, Albertus Magnus and Southern CT. Location: CITY HALL on the New Haven Green, 165 Church St., in Meeting Rooms One & Two, 2nd Floor Atrium on the right. Parking : Free Public Parking Yale Lot 51 (Temple St. b/t Wall St. & Elm St., 2 blocks from City Hall) after 4pm on Weekdays. Meter parking available on surrounding streets free after 7pm. City Hall Garage located off Elm St. charges $4/hour.
