Sailing with Schooner Inc’s Captain Dagold

New Haven, CT – Schooner Inc is pleased to welcome Jeremy Dagold as Schooner Inc’s new Executive Captain. Captain Dagold pilots the S/V Quinnipiack, Schooner Inc’s 91 foot gaff rigged schooner, which is used as an education and passenger vessel. He oversees operations and a crew of two mates, three deckhands and a shipboard educator.
Captain Dagold’s move to Long Island Sound brought him up the East Coast from the Chesapeake Bay. There he worked for the Living Classrooms Foundation of the National Capitol Region in Baltimore, Maryland, where he was Master of the motor vessel Half Shell. Since graduating from St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a BA in history in 2001, he has been on sailing and motorized boats with Living Classrooms Foundation, Mystic Whaler Cruises, Liberty Fleet of Tall Ships, Inc. and Clipper City Cruises, Inc. Mr. Dagold holds a 100-ton near coastal masters license: sail and towing endorsed.
Schooner Inc is a non-profit marine education organization based in New Haven, Connecticut.
