Frei played the part of Ben Franklin to draw children ages 8-12 into a personal relationship with him.  Learning about this scientist, inventor and founding father of the United States will inspire resourcefulness in children , showing them how to cope with new situations. "The Oopy Goopy Times of Ben Franklin" combined imaginative games and theatre to show children how to use their unique strengths, become more confident and better skilled at handling different situations.

There are two upcoming programs in this founding fathers series. "What's the Big Idea With Thomas Jefferson" is February 9th and "Getting to Know George (Washington)" is March 9th.  Both interactive programs will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the South Norwalk Library.
