Lucy And Desi: A Home Movie

"Lucy And Desi: A Home Movie," an Emmy Award-winning documentary is a "touching, no holds-barred portrait of the turbulent marriage of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz." (Chicago Sun Times) The film will be screened at The Ridgefield Playhouse Film Society's Lost and Found Film Series on Saturday, July 12 at 7:30 p.m. A Q&A featuring Lucie Arnaz and Laurence Luckinbill, the producers and directors, and Sandra Consentino, the film's Emmy and Ace Award-winning editor will follow. Hosted by Ira Joe Fisher and Faith Daniels, the Film Society is sponsored by The Ridgefield Press, Cohen and Wolf P.C., HB Group Incorporated and Sony XDCAM HD.

"Lucy and Desi" features rare, personal home movies and interviews with close friends and relatives. In addition to its insight into these two comedic icons, the film also provides rare television footage and a look at Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz's personal mementos (Ms. Ball saved every one of her husband's love letters, which Lucie discovered while researching the project).
