The mission of the Westport Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), a division of the Police Department within the Public Safety Office, is to provide a way for members to serve their community by supporting the local emergency service agencies in disaster, crisis and emergency response, and by promoting safety education, emergency and disaster preparedness.

Our 20+ hours Basic Training Course, regular ongoing review sessions and training exercises keeps us capable and ready to respond. Westport CERT is open to everyone 18 years or older.
