Wednesday Wonders - Coming to America: Immigrant Voices

A costumed role-player from Mystic Seaport's museum will present a lively participatory program for children grades 3-6. Coming to America depicts the story of Mrs. Penazi who came to America in the 1800s. She will share treasured objects from her culture and fascinating stories about her personal experiences of coming to America. Learn about the hardships of her sea voyage, the arrival process and the challenges she faced.

Registration required; no program fee. Made possible by the Steve and Alison Sherman Family Fund. Adults are welcome.
