The 64th annual Summer Art Show opens with a reception at the Library onFriday, July 11th, from 6 to 7:30 pm. More than 70 adult artists from Wilton are exhibiting their work in this year's show, which includes more than 100 oils, watercolors, pastels, drawings, and sculptures. Many of the artists will attend the reception, so you can get to know both creators and creations while enjoying refreshments that evening.
The Summer Show runs through Friday, August 29th, so be sure to stop by to see it, even if you aren't able to attend the opening reception. You'll find your friends and neighbors are very talented.
Most of the artwork is available for purchase, and a portion of the proceeds from each sale benefits the Library's Art Fund for the purchase of books and DVDs on art and art instruction. Bring along your checkbook or credit card, for you are sure to be tempted by our local artists' fare!
