The Mushroom Festival is a rain or shine event. In severe weather some events may be canceled or rescheduled. Updates, when possible, will be made to the website.
Mushroom Festival Information Booth
The Main Information Booth is located in the center of town, at the corner of North Union and East State Streets. Need help finding a particular event or have questions about Kennett Square, just ask our volunteers. They have the resources to get you an answer. Our volunteers at the main entrances and exits have detailed information that might just answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Street Festival Vendors
The streets of Kennett Square will be lined with nearly 250 vendors for the Festival.
Where to Buy Mushrooms
Take home some of the freshest mushrooms you’ll ever taste. Mushroom Sales Booths are located near the East and West Festival Entrances and in front of the Growers’ Exhibit. The Mushroom Sales Booths are marked on the Festival Map.
Your mushrooms will be kept cool and fresh in refrigerated To Jo Mushroom trucks until you’re ready to leave. Pick-up locations are near the East and West Main Entrances, and on North Broad Street, behind the Kennett Square Inn.
Mushroom Festival Souvenir Booth
Show your Mushroom Festival spirit with a 31st Annual Mushroom Festival t-shirt-men’s, and women’s sizes available. The Souvenir Booth is a great place to pick up the popular Mushroom Lover’s Cookbook and there are still copies of the 30th Anniversary Mushroom Festival Cookbook available. These and many other unique Mushroom Festival souvenirs can be found at the booth near the corner of East State and Broad Streets (across the street from the Kennett Inn).
Painted Mushrooms Silent Auction
Check out the creativity of local artists who have painted 3-foot, 108 lb. concrete mushrooms. They will be on display during the Festival at the Painted Mushroom Booth in front of the Kennett Square Inn (corner of Broad and State Streets). You’ll be able to take home one of these unique creations if yours is the winning bid in the silent auction!
$3 per person (ages 12 and up). Proceeds from the sale of the admission wristbands goes toward the Mushroom Festival’s grant program. In 2016, the Mushroom Festival gave $85,000 to 47 non-profit organizations
