Dancers and audiences alike are in the spotlight for the “Spooktacular” since children — and many of their parents to — attend in their favorite costumes. Girls and boys parade onstage after the show, then trick-or-treat throughout the decorated theater and pose for photographs with the dancers. While treating the audience to creative fun, the program also showcases the art of dance and timeless classical music. The performances demonstrate the high level of training that ECB offers to its students.
The “Spooktacular” kicks off with several short ballet works that capture the spirit of Halloween. Artistic Director Gloria Govrin and Associate Director Krystin Dixon choreographed these three works, especially for the event.
