Colonial Trades Garrison Weekend

Saturday, Mar 24, 2018 at 10:00am

Garrison Weekend is a free, family-friendly, living history event that features the daily lives of the men, women and children of Fort Loudoun. Trades were often learned through an apprenticeship before making a living by them. This weekend reenactors will demonstrate several of these. Trades may include blacksmithing, tinsmithing, wood working, leather working, natural dyeing, laundry, and the medical field.
View an 18th century infirmary, soldier’s barracks, the commander’s quarters, blacksmith shop, as well as a Cherokee encampment.  Musket, artillery firing, and laundry demonstrations will take place throughout the day.
