Learn how to paint abstract landscapes using acrylic paints. This class caters to both beginners and experienced painters aiming to enhance their technical skills and explore the art of abstraction. We will paint an abstract interpretation of a realistic landscape, offering a fresh perspective on traditional scenery and utilizing various painting techniques. The primary focus will be on teaching abstract design through the fundamentals of perspective, scale, shape, form, and color. Please bring three different photos or images of traditional landscapes that inspire you, featuring subjects like gardens, woodlands, fields, and water elements such as ponds and streams. Enlarged copies measuring around 8x10" will provide optimal material for analysis, and one of them will serve as the source for your interpretive painting.
