The Ken & Brad Kolodner Quartet brings a unique spin to old music by weaving the hammered dulcimer and clawhammer sounds together to make American folk music. Concert admission is free.
The quartet will play traditional and original music. This concert will be held outside (inside if it rains). Bring lawn chairs and blankets. A hot dog bar and beverages will be available starting at 5:00 p.m. Suggested donation is $10.
Ken is one of the most influential hammered dulcimer players and old-time fiddlers in North America. His son Brad is a renowned clawhammer banjo player.
Ken and Brad will be joined by bassist Alex Lacquement, who has crafted a unique, dazzling style, and by fiddler and guitarist Rachel Eddy, a dynamic multi-instrumentalist.
After the concert, the musicians will hold an old-time jam. All are welcome to play fiddle tunes and old-time songs. Bring your instruments.
