Pride Dinner and a Movie. The exquisite, Red Shoe Island Bistro located at 411 Petronia St is generously providing a 3-course, prefix menu to pair with our movie showing immediately following. There will be a cash bar available, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet the filmmakers before the showing. Experience a captivating night at the Tropic Cinema – 416 Eaton St, with ‘Rink & Ring: Stories of Strength and Identity’. The event will feature two profound films exploring personal journeys’ trials and triumphs. The first film, ‘SKATE’,  is a short 15 minute film that follows a young man as he seeks solace in the roller skating world while caring for his ailing father. The second film, ‘CLOCKED’, follows the gripping tale of Adolfo Rivera, an undefeated boxer grappling with his identity and familial expectations in a conservative Miami community. Together, these films celebrate resilience and the courage to embrace one’s truth. The evening will include a Q&A session with the filmmakers. Dinner is limited to only 40 people and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is only $100 per person. For those not interested in dinner, the movie is free and open to the public and will begin at 8 pm. Tickets are available Here. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable night!
