The Lombard Park District's Lilacia Park is an 8.5-acre horticultural showcase featuring 700 lilacs and 25,000 tulips! In 2019 with the hard work of the Lombard Historic Preservation Commission, Lilacia Park was recognized and placed on the official list of National Register of Historic Places. All ages will enjoy a stroll through the park or one of our many special events. From tastings to tours and concerts to coronation, there is something for everyone during Lilac Time 2024.

Schedule of Events

9:00 am - 5:00 pm: Lombard Garden Club Lilac Sale  

This ever popular Lombard Garden Club sponsored event will be held on the north side of Lilacia Park. Shop a large selection of at least 15 different cultivars. Please note: the sale is scheduled for Thursday-Saturday, but closes when the supply of 450 lilacs is sold out. Starting April 8, up-to-date information about the sale and available lilacs can be found online.

9:00 am - 5:00 pm: Perennial Plant Sale - Lombard Park District

A variety of perennials will be available for sale near the Lilacia Park Green House.

11:00 am: Lilac Heritage Tour - Lombard Historical Society

6:00 - 10:00 pm: Lilac Ball  - Lombard Chamber of Commerce - The Carlisle Lombard

Enjoy an elegant evening of fun as residents and friends gather at The Carlisle Lombard for this annual celebration - dinner, open bar, dancing and raffles. Tickets are required.
