Night Bloom 2023 Project Highlight! Join artists Gus Tomizuka, Patricio Coronado, and Rebeca Bollinger for the presentation of Parallel H(ear), a site-related sound and sculptural installation located in the Agua Caliente wash in Northeast Tucson.

Engaging the Sonoran Desert as inspiration, site, and context, the collaborative produced “site imprints” through real time audio objects and physical impressions of hollows, rocks, leaves, ocotillo stems, and a cottonwood tree knot, then translated into soundmakers of bronze, aluminum and ceramic.
