Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary is holding its 21^st Annual 5K Run for the Animals and 1-Mile Fun Walk on Sunday, May 19^th. All funds raised go towards the lifesaving work Poplar Spring does every day. The funds will care and feed the rescued animals that live at Poplar Spring, as well as educate the public about compassion towards all animals.

Race Options

We are happy to announce that the Run for the Animals is being held in-person. We are also offering the option of a virtual race. What this means is that if you prefer to complete a 5K run or a walk on your own, you can do so anytime during the week of May 19^th.

Prizes:

Monetary prizes are given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers. Awards are also given to the top team, and top male and female finishers in the following age categories: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39,40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and older.

Prizes will be awarded to the top two fundraisers!
