DeSoto County Fair Association

The first DeSoto County Fair was held in 1953. It was started by a group of civic-minded citizens who saw a need to show the many agricultural products grown in the county. The county fair has been an annual event for the last 55 years.

We are very proud of our program, which has grown and improved each year. The true reason the County Fair has improved each year is because of the dedicated volunteers that care so much about quality and character, the building of a new generation of youth guaranteed the same traditions we grew up with. The kids are our future and their development is our responsibility
