North Port Orchestra
The North Port Orchestra was founded in 1983 by a handful of local residents who were interested in playing for their own pleasure as well as providing music for the community.
St. Paul's Presbyterian Church served as the Orchestra's home until November 2001 when they moved to the Music Suite adjacent to the Performing Arts Center on the North Porth High School Campus.
The Orchestra is composed of amature and professional musicians. Programs include classical, contemporary and popular music. The goal of North Port Orchestra is to promote charitable and educational activities in North Port, Florida.
