The Appleton presents a rarely displayed collection of weapons and artifacts that symbolize power. The pieces all have militaristic, tribal or ritual value, feature beauty of design or are adorned with exotic, rare and expensive material. Also presented are more conventional art such as World War II posters, propaganda items, portraits of military leaders, paintings of famous battles and sculptures of warriors from cultures around the world.
