The Mennello Museum of American Art endeavors to preserve, exhibit, and interpret the Museum's outstanding permanent collection of paintings by Earl Cunningham (1893-1977).
The Museum also seeks to enrich the public through special exhibitions, publications, and programs that celebrate outstanding traditional and contemporary Amercian artists.
Working with major American museums the possibilities for hosting outstanding exhibitions is endless.
The American folk art collection will still be part of the Museum's permanent collection. It is anticipated that the collection will provide material for focus exhibits that will enable us to show the folk art in a larger context, and in some instances, make connections to other American art forms.
