UCF Arena

About Us:

The New UCF Arena at Knights Plaza is the largest live  entertainment and sports facility in East Orlando. This building features a seating capacity of over 10,000 and amenities including 16 luxury suites, club lounge and 100,000 square feet of neighboring retail and restaurant space. The facility has drastically changed the face of live entertainment in Central Florida. Through partnerships with national and local promoters, the inaugural lineup of shows has included world famous entertainers, beloved family shows and special events rivaling any venue in the country.

The old UCF Arena was closed down for refurbishments as of September. The facility is being repaired and remodeled to become the full-time practice facility for UCF Athletics. In addition, the existing arena will be utilized for smaller events including banquets and live theater events.

Global Spectrum (global-spectrum.com), the fastest growing firm in the public assembly facility management field with more than 50 facilities throughout the United States and Canada, manages the 5,300-seat UCF Arena. The Philadelphia-based company is part of one of the world's largest sports and entertainment conglomerates Comcast-Spectacor, which also owns the Wachovia Center and Wachovia Spectrum, the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association, the Philadelphia Phantoms of the American Hockey League, Flyers Skate Zone, a series of community ice skating rinks, Comcast SportsNet, a regional sports programming network, three minor league baseball teams - the Bowie Baysox, the Delmarva Shorebirds and the Frederick Keys - all affiliates of the Baltimore Orioles, Ovations Food Services, a food and beverage services provider, and Patron Solutions, a full-service ticketing and marketing product for public assembly facilities.
