4-H Shooting Sports Classes Offered

The Brevard County Agriculture and Extension Service and the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences will offer shooting sports classes for youth next month.

“4-H Youth Air Rifle,” for youth ages 8 to 18, will be held on Friday, May 15 from 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Titusville Rifle and Pistol club. “4-H Youth Muzzle-loading,” for youth ages 14 to 18, will be held on Wednesday, May 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Titusville Rifle and Pistol club.

A “4-H Youth Shotgun” class will be held on Saturday, May 24, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Port Malabar Rifle and Pistol Club in Palm Bay.  This class is available to youth ages 10 to 18.

All classes teach gun safety and marksmanship through basic instruction.
