Basketball Fundamentals Classes Offered at Ted Whitlock Community Center

PALM BAY, FL---Brevard County Parks and Recreation, along with Coach David Gartrelle and Big City Basketball, is offering basketball fundamentals classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.  The classes will be held at the Ted Whitlock Community Center gymnasium in Palm Bay.  The center is located inside Palm Bay Regional Park, 1951 Malabar Road NW.

Coach Gartrelle and his staff will provide instruction on basketball basics such as shooting, ball handling, rebounding, defense, and more. Classes are for boys and girls ages 6 through 16 who want to improve their game.  The cost is $100 per child, which includes eight one-hour sessions.  Space is limited to the first 25 children to register.
