American Sculptors showcases two-dimensional works of art from artists who are known for their masterful work in sculpture. The exhibition brings together prints and drawings selected from the permanent collection by artists such as Lyman Kipp, Melvin Edwards, Seymour Lipton, Alexander Calder, David Maxim, and Dale Chihuly. Through the works selected the artists’ concepts of color, form, and composition, typically expressed in a three dimensional medium, are illustrated and analyzed in an alternate form.
