Designed for those scheduled for joint replacement surgery, this class takes you on a step-by-step journey from preoperative planning to postoperative recovery. The class is led by your Joint Care Coordinator, as well as a dedicated physical therapist and occupational therapist. You will learn exercises and home preparations before surgery, care and expectations as a patient in the Joint Solutions Center, and what to expect as you recover at home. In addition, there will be an opportunity to tour the unit. The class is offered weekly on Mondays. A family member is encouraged to attend, but not required.
Requirements: Scheduled hip or knee surgery Registration is required.
