History and Mission statement

For more than one hundared and thirty years God has been faithful to a congreation who meets on the corner of high way 78 and high way 221. This church has seen the blessing of god from its orgin in 1874 until today. Lives have been changed, families strengtherd, out community improved and the kingdom of god impacted forhis glory, because of the unwavering commitment made by members throughout each year of our faith familys wonderful history.

Our heritage runs deep in and through gods love and grace. Our past is not only a testment of devoted baptist christians in harlem,GA . but it is an edification to gods sovereign mission of using wiling and obedient following of jesus to make a real and lasting didderence for the cause of christ in our community and beyond . today that mission is still alive and well, and so is the mission HBC: to be a christ-centered family of faith, seeking to connect akk people to a life changing relationship through biblical core values of worship.
