Theatre In The Square
Theatre In The Square is a year-round professional theatre, producing a five-show subscription season as well as summer and holiday shows. It is one of the Southeast's most respected regional arts institutions, consistently ranked as one of Georgia's top professional theatres. The theatre is a community-based organization governed by a volunteer board of directors consisting of civic leaders from the metro-Atlanta/Cobb County area. It is largely responsible for the revitalization of the Marietta Square, with a $5.3-million economic impact on Cobb County.
The theatre boasts a charming facility housed in a former cotton warehouse. It features two separate theatres including the popular 225 seat Main Stage and the intimate 120 seat Alley Stage, which is dedicated to the development and performance of innovative works. Incorporated in 1982 in the state of Georgia, Theatre in the Square is a non-profit organization. It possesses a federal 501(c)3 classification.
