Hemptown Baptist Church
Hemptown Baptist Church has a great love for people. In John 13:35, Jesus said that people would know we were His disciples by our love one for another. We believe and practice this at Hemptown Baptist. At Hemptown Baptist, we believe that the Bible is God’s inerrant Word of God. We believe in preaching and teaching the Bible as the way to change lives. As Paul teaches in Galatians 3, Salvation and Sanctification is through Christ. We want to promote holy living through the grace of God not through legalism of the law.
The dress is very casual at Hemptown Baptist. Everyone is welcome at Hemptown. It is not important where you are right now in your life, but what you allow God to do with your life. When David was raising an army for Israel, he welcomed everyone. II Samuel 22:2 states, “And everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented gathered to him”. Some of these same people became “mighty men” for God. In Mark 2:17, Jesus said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.
I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” We want to practice this at Hemptown Baptist and reach out to all who would come. Hemptown has a heart for youth and children. Hemptown has Sunday School classes for all ages. On Sunday evenings, Hemptown has Awana. The youth of Hemptown participate in various trips and Youth Camp each summer. Vacation Bible School is also conducted each summer Please plan to come worship with us.
