Standing in line for tickets is a drag! Whether its a local sports event in the Talking Rock area, that can’t-miss “reunion” concert halfway across Georgia or the latest kids’ production, scoring tickets online is simpler than ever (and you’re not dealing with some shady character in sunglasses). There are a ton of ticket sites available, but we like these two.

TicketsNow.com: They boast the world’s largest online stash of “secondary market tickets” (6 times more of ‘em than eBay). And if there’s something you want to see that’s NOT listed on the site, their customer service reps will still try and locate great seats for you. The site is secure, and the company is listed with the Better Business Bureau, as well as being bonded and licensed by the Illinois Secretary of State (that’s the home office). Check them out here: www.ticketsnow.com

StubHub.com: This is like one big swap-meet for ticketholding fans. You can buy and sell them at fair market value through their state-of-the-art ticket delivery system (patent pending). StubHub has been around since 2000 and is partnered with most major sports teams, and media companies including AOL. Even if your significant other is lamenting that the show they wanted to see on your anniversary is “sold out,” you may still have a shot at StubHub. Find them here: www.stubhub.com
