The Musical Theatre Experience (MTE) is Diamond Head Theatre's popular summer
school program for children ages 7-16. Students receive valuable training in
acting, singing and dancing, as well as fascinating insight into the history of
musical theatre. The course is designed to provide a fun-filled experience which
includes theatre games, improvisations, vocal and physical exercises, dance
styles and technique, plus much more!
Both entertaining and educational, the program helps build character and
self-confidence through personal communication and teamwork.
Best of all, the program culminates in a performance featuring all of the
students on the final Saturday, July 19, 2008.
CHILDREN'S PROGRAM
Limited Enrollment
7 - 12 years old
June 9 - July 18, 2008
- No class on Tuesday, July 4
- Student Showcase on Saturday, July 19
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
- class ends at 2:00 p.m. during final week,
July 14 - 18
$650 for six weeks
Registration begins March 31, 2008
Supplies included ($25 value):
DHT three-ring binder, pencils, CD
(with practice music) and MTE t-shirt
Drop off time: 7:45 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Pick up time: 12:00 noon
TEEN PROGRAM
