Altera Real Estate  says Aloha to New Affiliate Honolulu, Hawaii – July 24, 2009- Altera Real Estate, is pleased to announce that Judy Kalbrener, GRI, CRS, SRES, is the newest Altera Real Estate affiliate. Kalbrener is the broker/owner of Altera Real Estate, Honolulu, Hawaii. Altera Real Estate was co-founded last year by Orange County, California Brokers Gary & Steven Thomas and Silicon Valley Brokers, Dennis & Colleen Badagliacco. Gary Thomas was the California Association of REALTORS^® President in 2001, is on track to be president of the National Association of REALTORS^® in 2013.  NAR is the country’s largest trade association with 1.2 million members.  Colleen Badagliacco was 2007 president of the California Association of REALTORS^®. Kalbrener has been a real estate licensee for 21 years and a broker for over 18 years. She has lived in Hawaii since 1973 and has a reputation for actively participating in her community through her volunteerism with the American Cancer Society, and Rotary International of Downtown Honolulu.  She is an active participant within the real estate industry serving as the 2009 President of the Hawaii Association of REALTORS^® as well as a state Director for many years.  She has also served as a director for the National Association of REALTORS^®.  In 2007 she was acknowledged and honored by the Honolulu Board of REALTORS^®  by being named “REALTOR^® of the Year.” Recognizing that the real estate industry and brokerages in particular have undergone a fundamental change in their operation and services in the past few years, Kalbrener was eager to embrace the innovative strategy and well planned business model of Altera Real Estate.  She believes that as an affiliate of Altera, her brokerage will be strongly positioned to sustain the present real estate market, and to flourish when a more stable market returns. “I have a great deal of respect for the principal partners of Altera Real Estate” noted Kalbrener.  “I’ve known them for many years.
