Kailua-Kona Community 4th Of July Parade

The Rotary Club of Kona presents the 14th Annual Kailua-Kona Independence Day Parade.

Last year, the parade featured 55 Community, Military, Political, Musical and Lighted entrants with over 900 participants. The Kailua Kona Fireworks Extravaganza will follow the parade at 8:00 p.m

The Parade will assemble at the Kona Kekua’okalani Gym parking lot no later than 4:30 p.m. The Parade will start promptly at 5:30 p.m. and take the traditional Kuakini Hwy route to Palani Road onto Ali’i Drive to the Coconut Grove Marketplace. Musical entries and floats are encouraged. A limited number of lighted entries will be accepted.

When: Saturday, July 4, 2009

The deadline to submit an application to the enter the parade is Tuesday, June 26, 2009, or sooner if we reach our maximum number of entrants.
