Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival

Each year thousands of Cedar Rapids, Iowa residents and visitors join together to celebrate our nation's birthday by enjoying the many events and activities of the Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival. More than 408,000 area residents and visitors attended Freedom Festival 2006.

This year's 24th annual Freedom Festival begins with our inspirational Heroes Luncheon on June 19th and culminates with the annual Celebration of Freedom Fireworks on July 4th. The wide variety of affordable Freedom Festival events and activities is only possible through the very generous business, individual, plus city and county financial and volunteer support.
