Hope Lutheran Church of Des Moines

Hope's Mission Statement :

Our mission statement, "Loving People to Christ", is the driving force behind our missions and ministries. We reach out to our church family through adult small groups, various topical Bible studies, care ministries for the homebound and hospitalized, and our telephone and email prayer chain. We offer many types of outreach ministries to serve our local community, either through events or our partnership with Family of God Ministries for the inner city here in Des Moines. We also reach out to the world through active sponsorship of mission work in Papua New Guinea, East Africa, Jamaica and Mexico.

Our Hope family is seeking God's will and purpose for our future, and we are actively pursuing His divine guidance and help through our Prayer and Praise worship service, held every Monday evening. During this unique service, we come together for confession, meditation on God's Word, prayer, singing praises, and discussing where God is leading us.
