This fall, as we settle into the wet and cold weather, the Arts Alliance has something productive and inspiring to offer.  The next session of art classes is just around the corner, beginning November 9, and now is the time to sign up.  The enrollment deadline is Monday November 2.

The Arts Alliance is excited to offer a wide range of classes for adults, including Pastel Painting, Mosaic Mirrors, Stained Glass, Pottery, Drawing, Oil Painting and more.  Most adult classes meet once a week for five weeks.  Choose from daytime or evening options, or a one-day workshop, such as Glass Nugget Jewelry or Simple Stained Glass Snowflakes. All classes are led by professional artists.

For youth, the Arts Alliance offers Wool Felt Handcrafting, Drop in Art Adventures, Sculpey Creatures and Drawing.  Drop in on Wednesdays to just try one day (3:30- 5 pm, $10), or sign up for a 5-week class after school.  From sculpting the Pend Oreille Paddler to creating silkscreened tshirts, activities will correspond to students of different ages.  The first day, a parent must come in with the student to check in with the staff.

The website has a complete listing of classes, course descriptions, instructors and prices, and allows you to sign up online: www.ArtsAlliance.info, or call 265-ARTS.  You can also stop by to register in person at the Sandpoint Center for the Arts, at the corner of 6th and Oak.  The Center houses both the Arts Alliance and the Redtail Gallery, and is open 10 am to 5pm Monday-Friday, and Saturday noon to 5 pm.

Visit  www.artsalliance.info for complete details, or call 265-ARTS.
