Saint Mary Church

We, the parish family of St. Mary, of Centralia, illinois are called to proclaim the Risen Lord. As members of the Body of Christ, we have been baptized into a Eucharist community. We are people of varied community and to the world.

We are called by the Spirit:

To witness to Gospel values in today's society
To worship God Through prayers and sacraments
To evangelize for continued growth and renewal
To pass on our faith through Catholic education
To be a healing and reconciling parish
To strive to be faithful stewards of our resources

Rich in the Roman Catholic traction of those who have gone before us, we now are called to share the responsibility of this and pass on our faith to future generations.
