Artistic Director and Minister of Music Jeffrey Panko will present a solo performance featuring the music of Bach, Schubert, Beethoven, Busoni and Enrique Granados in a concert that is sure to thrill and inspire.

Since 1999, the Music@Bethel Concert Series has hosted some of the world’s most accomplished singers and musicians from Chicago and beyond. World-class, award-winning pianist, Panko is the church’s minister of music and has been the artistic director of the Music@Bethel Concert Series for the entirety of its 18 outstanding seasons.

Panko is an integral part of the series, having performed as soloist six times, and as part of a collaborative ensemble or piano duo in almost every featured concert.

As a solo artist, Panko is a musician whose versatility of style and genre—encompassing repertoire from Bach to the contemporary—is presented with poetic grace, technical aplomb and a large color palate.

Panko has also been featured in performances at Carnegie Hall, Weill Recital Hall, Lincoln Center Library, WQXR Radio (New York), is a frequent performer on WFMT Radio (Chicago), and has appeared in Symphony Center playing the music of Steven Sondheim for Mr. Sondheim.

A wine reception will follow the concert. Bethel United Church of Christ is located at 315 East St. Charles Road in Elmhurst.
