Continued training and support programs for Law Enforcement Professionals are a necessity so that Officers can serve and protect confidently,
competantly and professionally. Like a Sports Professional that is constantly training and practicing so that they are the best on the playing field; a
Law Enforcement Officer must train and practice because when they are on "THE STREET'S" or their playing field, they may only get one chance to
play.
25-35% of Law Enforcement Agencies in the U.S. have had Budget Cuts in the past year. The results affect city departments, daily life for residents and
your safety. While some departments are actually decreasing personel, continued training and support programs are almost non-existant in some
cases.
A poll was taken of 200 departments during the Summer in Naperville; IL by the Police Executive Research Forum; which studies law enforcement
trends, and it was reported that 39 percent of respondents said that their operating budgets were cut because of the economy and 43 percent said the
faltering economy had affected their ability to deliver services.
How can we help? - There is a unique Charitable Organization called FULCRUM TACTICAL Training and Support that donates tier-one life saving
Tactical Training and Support to Law Enforcement Agencies in the U.S. Their instructors are comprised of current and former tier-one tactical
operators, team leaders, commanders and instructors whom have trained organizations worldwide.
Fulcrum Tactical; located in Flossmoor, IL; is a non-profit organization founded in 2009 and after only 1 year they have already provided free training
and support to 413 Officers from over 162 Law Enforcement Agencies.
Their Moto is: "It is our belief that Officers should never see or be confronted with a situation on the street for the first time"
