Faith Baptist Church of Posen was organized in 1958 by a small group of faithful believers unhappy with their current Church situation. Services began in a garage lent to the Church by The Rogers family and they soon called a Pastor Rev. Fred Bartz.

At that time we were joined to the American Baptist Convention, but are presently an independent Fundamental Baptist Church. Faith Baptist Church and was soon able to purchase a small “Cape Cod” Style house on the corner of 149th & Kedzie Avenue. Several additions were added to the building and it is still used by the Church for Sunday School and office space.
