Our school is one of two elementary schools in the Roxana Community Unit School District. South Roxana Elementary is an attendance center which numbers almost 500 students who are enrolled in Pre Kindergarten through Grade Five.

Our knowledgeable and dedicated staff provides an exemplary, developmentally appropriate education for each child with an emphasis on both academic and social growth. A strong academic foundation will continue to be built upon at each grade level. A child's "foundation" is not built by the school alone. At South Roxana Elementary School, we feel that a positive, cooperative relationship among parents, school personnel, and community members is the key to the success of a child.
