Free Breast Cancer Screenings

The YWCA ENCOREplus Program reaches out women in Lake County who are low income, and medically underserved, with education on the need for early detection for breast cancer. The program provides access to free or low cost mammograms, transportation, translation and follow up services. ENCOREplus coordinates Viva Mujer Latina, a Breast Cancer support group for Spanish speaking women – the only one in LakeCounty.
