Blues and Bar-B-Q Family Reunion Festival

and Elevations Community Outreach (ECO) of Indianapolis plans to
capitalize on all three with its annual Blues & Bar-B-Q Family
Reunion Festival scheduled from 12 p.m. to midnight July 11 on the
grounds of the historic Walker Building. The (FREE) summertime event is
designed to drive former Indiana Avenue residents back to the
neighborhood for a taste of soulful blues. The festival will feature
the delights of Indianapolis-based Bar-B-Q Heaven, known for its tender
tips drenched in a homemade barbecue sauce (ranging from sweet and mild
to four-alarm fire hot) and C&R Catering, who will provide a
variety of southern deep-fried fish. The music menu will be just as
mouth-watering as performers who plan to take to the stage. Children’s
activities will take place in the Walker Plaza Parking Lot.
